HOW IT WORKS
Know what to expect at each step, before you make a decision.
Start with the year, make, model, mileage, and condition. Include the VIN and title status if you have them.
We review the details and discuss an inspection, service history, and any information needed to assess the vehicle.
Review the offer, any loan payoff, and the purchase details if you are trading. Ask questions before you accept.
Once the terms are agreed, confirm the required paperwork and handoff. Apply eligible trade-in equity toward your next vehicle or complete a direct sale.

TRADE-IN Q&A
Understand the process, paperwork, and common trade-in situations.
We evaluate your vehicle and discuss an offer with you. If you accept and choose another vehicle from our inventory, the agreed trade-in value is considered in the purchase. Any existing loan payoff is accounted for separately, so you can review the full transaction before deciding.
You can request an evaluation for a direct sale as well as a trade-in. Select “Sell my vehicle” in the request form, and our team will discuss your vehicle and the available options.
Age, mileage, equipment, condition, title and accident history, repair needs, and current demand all matter. Accurate details and service records help us evaluate your vehicle. A final offer depends on reviewing the vehicle and its information.
A financed vehicle may be eligible for trade-in. Tell us about the loan and obtain a current payoff amount from your lender. The payoff must be addressed as part of the transaction; the offer and loan balance are separate amounts.
The difference is called negative equity and still has to be paid. Adding it to another loan, if a lender approves, increases the amount you borrow and can increase your costs. Review the payoff and purchase terms carefully. Read the CFPB’s guidance on trading in a financed vehicle ↗
Plan to bring your photo ID, registration, available title or lender information, keys, and service records. Tell us if another owner is listed on the vehicle or if a document is missing so we can confirm what is needed before your visit.
Tell us the title status, known damage, warning lights, and repairs the vehicle needs. These details affect the evaluation. Contact us to confirm whether your particular vehicle can be considered before arranging a visit.
Remove personal items and make the vehicle accessible for inspection. Share maintenance records and disclose known issues. Ask us before paying for repairs or detailing specifically for a trade-in; the expense may not add the same amount to the offer.
Ask our team about pickup availability, location, and any costs before making arrangements. Timing depends on the vehicle review, ownership documents, and any lender payoff. We will discuss the next steps when we review your request.
The form starts a conversation with our team. It is not an automated appraisal or a guaranteed purchase offer. We review the details and discuss any inspection or additional information needed to evaluate your vehicle.
